Foto Femme United is thrilled to participate in a panel celebrating International Women's Day 2024, in collaboration with Der Greif and Female Photoclub.
This event is designed as a safe space for women in photography, where everyone is welcome. On this occasion we are also delighted to be joined by Dr. Caroline von Courten, newest team member, and Co-Artistic Director of Der Greif.
Our keynote speakers include April Wiser, Founder and CEO of Foto Femme United and Juliane Herrmann, the Female Photoclub Board/Leader in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Each speaker will also be in dialogue with an artist they've nominated and we're very pleased to welcome Kimbra Audrey on behalf of Foto Femme United and Natalie Strohmaier, who was recently a part of our collaborative auction with Grisebach auction house, on behalf of Female Photoclub.
We hope you'll join us for our guest speakers' presentations and the subsequent panel discussion, which will explore organizational perspectives on creating opportunities for women and solidarity among female photographers. The event will conclude with an opportunity to network through an open discussion. Audience members are welcome to bring questions on their own work/career paths or share their experiences, as we will collectively reflect on the current status of women in photography.
