Hard Truths
Hosted by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne and in collaboration with the New York Times, Hard Truths is an exhibition dedicated to the finest work of five brave and passionate photojournalists. The selection is curated by David Furst, The New York Times international picture editor and reveals a choice of heart touching, intense and strong images. The photographers, sometimes risking their own safety, have traveled through conflicts areas with social humanitarian tensions that have crossed many countries in the world- such as Venezuela, Cuba, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Philippines, always with the aim to pursue and witness the truth of events.
Featuring the work of women photographers Meridith Kohut and Newsha Tavakolian
